 As a probiotic supplementary food for dogs, SymbioPet® dog contains a mixture of the probiotic bacteria Enterococcus faecium, yeast and prebiotic fiber. The ingredients are precisely tailored to the digestive tract of dogs. The cultures supplied with SymbioPet® dog stabilize the intestinal environment in its normal, slightly acidic range. By forming short-chain fatty acids, they stimulate intestinal activity and thus support digestion.

SymbioPet® dog intestinal treatments for dogs support the bacteria of the healthy intestinal flora in the upper and lower intestinal sections. The tasks of the intestinal flora include the production of important vitamins, the promotion of metabolic performance, the pre-digestion of food components and the stimulation of intestinal peristalsis. Probiotic bacteria and yeasts also support the intestinal flora in defending against harmful bacteria that can be ingested daily with food.

Antibiotic therapies or diarrhea in dogs in particular can attack the natural intestinal flora and pave the way for harmful bacteria. The bacteria contained in the SymbioPet® dog prevent these germs from multiplying and changing the natural intestinal flora.
